With the first Splendour in the Grass since 2019 coming up next weekend, I’ve spent the past couple of weeks putting together camping gear, outfits and now everything else. I’ve been camping at music festivals for the last 15 years or so and I’ve learnt a lot about what I do and don’t need to pack. I pride myself on having everything I or anyone else needs to make sure that the only thing you need to be worried about is if you can get from one stage to the next without missing your favourite performer.
As it’s Scrubba’s 6th birthday this month, I wanted to do a little history on the biz. Scrubba Body was started back in July 2016 by partners Josh and Jase. They wanted to create a body scrub that wouldn’t irritate their skin. They had tried a few on the market that had caused Josh’s psoriasis to act up. So they were looking for a scrub that had all natural ingredients, and none of those words you see on the back of cosmetic products that you can’t pronounce. The boys got to work, researching and mixing and testing until the Original Coffee Scrub was created.

Like all of our Scrubba products, we are very particular about what goes into them. Cold process soap has no added detergents, which strip the skin of its natural oils and can cause allergic reactions. We love our city and with the QT Newcastle opening on Thursday (they’ll be stocking some of our products!), we’ve been thinking about how amazing it is to have another beautiful hotel in the city. Then we were thinking about how great of a place for tourists our city is, with so many things to do. I’ve just had friends visit from out of state who were shocked with how many amazing restaurants, bars, beaches, and general cool things there were to do around Town.
